JANUARY 2008: TRANSMISSION REBUILT
Well I finally brought the car to a transmission shop to have them check out my sloppy shifts. Turns out second gear completely worn out and it needed a rebuild. The damage was $1800 including parts and labor, but I had them put in a TransGo shift kit at the same time. Hopefully this part will last for another twelve years or more.

FEBRUARY 2008: DOOR SPEAKERS
When my driver's side door speaker stopped working, I picked up a pair of Roadmaster speakers for $20 bucks. They feature 3-way 200-watt sound with 1" dome tweeters, which the Pioneers never had. Unfortunately they are too deep and rub on the inside of the door panels, but who cares?

I also picked up some Roadmaster 6x9's for the back, and they rub on the rear dash and the trunk mechanism. Good sound, good price, and piss-poor fitment all around.

MARCH 2008: NEW TIRES
The only tires that Discount Tire had in stock were Kumho Ecsta AST's, so that's what I got this time around. The sidewalls are much softer than the Cooper Zeon tires I used to have.
